Dear reader, one thing that fascinates me about fashion is the way its being influenced by all different kinds of elements. Just think of the Chanel Scotland connection putting those delicate ensembles into a totally new context.

So an exhibition "Trading style" in Frankfurt, weltkulturenmuseum is reflecting on what fashion reveals about our society as well as on how styles are spreading and creating identities. There is going to be a dialog between more than 500 historical objects being shown from the museum's collection together with new designs of four international fashion labels such as Buki Akib (NG), A Kind of Guise (DE), CassettePlaya (UK) und P.A.M./Perks and Mini (AU). While in residency they are doing research at the museum, selecting objects and are going to design new fashion styles.
